Charcoal and Graphite Pencil Portraits
Pricing is evaluated based on the size of the drawing, number of subjects, complexity of reference photos, and whether there is a solid or detailed background. Pricing does not include framing or shipping cost. Framing options are available at additional cost.
* Sizes listed are standard frame sizes. For custom sizing please contact for quote.
** Additional subjects and background will be evaluated based on complexity and estimated time to complete.
The Process
To begin the process of ordering a custom drawing, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page, in which I will get back to you via email to discuss additional details and provide a custom quote for your request, including shipping and framing if you choose to do so. At this time, I may request reference photos to be sent via email. Once the price is agreed upon, I will then provide a mockup, make revisions if necessary, and when you are happy with the mockup, I will invoice you for a 50% non-refundable deposit which will go toward the final price of the drawing (you may pay in full if you choose to do so). Once the deposit is received, I will begin your drawing.
Turnaround time ranges from 2-6 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the drawing. Please be aware that the 50% deposit is required to secure your spot on my commissions list. Filling out the form below does not automatically reserve your spot. I will be responding to form submissions on a first-come, first-served basis until my commission spots are full.
When the drawing is complete and you are satisfied with the outcome, I will invoice you for the remaining balance. Once payment is received, I will carefully ship the drawing to you. Pick-up or drop-off options are available to local customers (Fall River, MA and surrounding towns).
Reference photos
Please be aware that the better the reference photo quality, the better the final drawing will be. It is best to provide high resolution photos in bright natural lighting, which is not too blurry when zoomed in, and does not have harsh shadows. If combining different photos, it is best to provide photos of subjects at the same angle (i.e. all looking straight ahead). It is not recommended to provide photos with filters as this downgrades the photo quality. It is understandable that you may not have high-resolution photos of former family members or pets, this can be worked around if you can provide multiple different photos so that I can get a better idea of what the subject looks like. Please be mindful that working with lower resolution photos may affect the outcome of the drawing.
If for whatever reason you are unhappy with the drawing, I may make revisions at my discretion until you are satisfied with your drawing. Please note that major changes not previously discussed may not be possible without incurring additional charges. To prevent this from occurring, please provide me with as many details as possible at the start of the process. No detail is too small!
Are you ready to create some magic?? Fill out the form below! (No commitment required).

If you are interested in ordering a custom commission, send us a brief message of what you’d like to have done, including the size you are looking for, number of subjects in the drawing, whether or not you would like a background, deadline if applicable, etc. If you are unsure of these details, no worries, we can discuss and work together to bring your vision to life!
Please note: Submitting this form does not guarantee your booking. Inquiries will be assessed on a first come, first served basis. A 50% non-refundable retainer must be paid to reserve your spot.
